PREPARING FOR OUR VISIT

To make the best of your time it would be helpful if you could complete the following preparations for our initial visit.

List and total all the assets and property which makes up your estate, this is essential for your own Asset Management.
For example, home, car, valuables inherited items, investments, insurance, death in service benefits, pensions and business interests.

List the names and addresses of your chosen executors, beneficiaries and guardians, as they require to be stated in your Will:

  • Executors - Those who after Writing a Will would administer your Will through the legal process of applying for and obtaining confirmation of your estate, collecting in your estate, distributing the proceeds to your chosen beneficiaries, and finally administering any trusts resulting from your Will.
  • Beneficiaries - Those who you would like to receive your estate.
  • Guardians - Those who will look after your young children.

Decide the share of your estate you wish to leave your beneficiary and if any Special items are to be bequeathed to certain individuals and gifts to your favourite charity.

  • Do you require secure storage of your Will & free 2 yearly reviews?
  • Would you like to arrange your affairs to avoid paying 40% Inheritance Tax on your estate, so giving more to your chosen beneficiaries?
  • If in later life you were to go into Long Term Care, would you like to protect your property against the Community Care Act 1990 and thereafter still have assets to leave your family and friends?
  • Do you wish to take advantage of PAUL ADAMS ASSOCIATES EXECUTOR HELP SERVICE?
  • Do you want to express your preferences to your doctor and family about medical treatment in the event of not being able to make a decision yourself due to you suffering a severe illness or following severe injuries sustained in an accident.
  • Do you wish to arrange an Enduring Power of Attorney?
